This is Class 1 in a 4-class series covering the basic physical postures (asana) and prostrations. Each week will emphasis a direction of mobility for the spine. Various breathing techniques (pranayama) will be presented and practiced. Introduction to basic postures with emphasis on Twisting and Lateral Movement; Nadi Shodhana Pranayama (alternate nostril breathing).
